The X Factor results are in and the Twins John and Edward have been saved, they was in a final sing off against Lucy Jones and survived after Simon Cowell put it to the public vote.

In the sing off, John and Edward performed Robbie Williams' Rock DJ ,while Lucie Jones sang One Moment in Time by Whitney Houston.
 
Then once the songs had been sung the judges had to vote.

Louis Walsh voted to send Lucy home. Danni voted to send the Twins home, and so did Cheryl, but Simon voted for another deadlock, which left the final two acts fate down to the public meaning Lucy has now  become the fifth act to leave the show.

I can barely believe that Simon would let the result based on the public vote. What was he thinking?

In my own preference I would mention that Lucie and Stacey are capable of winning this competition, what the bloody hell was that.

I will always miss you stacey.

The other week when Simon sent Lucy home i was furious!
Why bang on about how it is a singing competition and he is going to judge the bottom two on their last performances, then suddenly contradict that by changing it to oh well i don't think either of you can win so let the public decide. Common sense tells you why Lucy was in the bottom two, the public thought she was safe so didn't vote. Simon knew this and should have saved her given that she was clearly the better performer.
He sits there all smug with the ' I am a music mogul and you lot are just unintelligent minions ' kind of attitude when we all know that he is just getting rid of as many great acts as he can so his own find it easier to win in the end. You are corrupt Simon, and i would welcom your shows getting axed next year in favour of ones that treat contestants fairly and with the respect that they deserve, run by clever people not idiots like you.

Simon what were you thinking? Only god can justify your actions!!! His explanation that he felt Lucy could not go on to win the competition? Correct me if im wrong, X-Factor is a singing competition? Jedward although i find amusing they cannot sing theyre awful!!! How can Louie have the audacity infront of the entire nation to criticise any other contestant when his one and only act cannot sing..... He goes on to say Jamie sounds like a pub singer....well what does that make Jedward? Jamie is cheating?? No one has heard of that film??? the theme was movies, not movies that Louie has heard of!! Simon just please publicly admit you were wrong to send it to the public vote! So many reviews I have read say how you have lost your mind and the show has lost all credability....
I now agree. I'm deeply upset and annoyed as are many of you. Louie " Their entertainers", but they have NO VOCALS!! Again the show is looking for singing talent!!!!!!! Lucy I cannot stress enough how talented you are, you have an incredible voice and should have been in the final. Personally i feel let down and p*ssed off. Joe, Danyl or Olly 2 win?

I don't understand how Simon can complain week after week about the show being a "singing competition" and how bad Jedward are compared to the other singers... (true) and then knowingly allow them the chance to stay on the show. Lucy is one of the best singers of the competition, and I think Simon was being strategic in playing his part to keep Jedward. Perhaps this is because he does not want the competition for his over 25's, or he wants a male to win this time! He knows Lucy is good. She has true star quality on many levels. Whatever his reason, he had no integrity in this matter... it was not an honest decision on his part. Louis had to vote for Jedward, because they are his only act. The other two voted for Lucy... and then Simon pulled this trick. I hope he explains on the next show!! It makes me wonder about the X-Factor show in general, sadly. How much are they manipulating the viewers and the results in their own little ways??

ok so this is my second post in 2 days ,, after reading all the comments upto now and how much your not going to watch the show anymore , i dont believe you , i think simon has played a master plan in all this and i bet tht the figures for next weeks show will be the best yet as all the disgruntaled veiwers out there will want to see what simon does next or even if he gives an explination to last weeks show , the twins know themselves that there not very good but its the british public that have kept them in , fair play to them always going on stage and doing there thing even knowing that they will get hamered by the judges and the press , the show may be a fix but its the best one yet , lucie your a star , good luck to you and i hope i will be hearing you again soon , ,

the only reson the twins are in the competion is because louie has a crush on them and simon wants to make money LCUY WAS THE BEST THERE AND SHOULD NOT OFF GONE!

im from britain, i dont understand why the hell those 2 talentless ******** are still in the competition. Its a talent competition and the best singer (lucie) just got voted out to the worst in the competition.

I cannot believe that Simon didnt take the vote.. to get rid of the worse contestants ever on the show, he had been complaining from day one how talentless they are SO WHY Simon?...(BTW ive always admired Simon for his honesty and his convictions but after last night he's gone way down in my estimation) Ive watched Xfactor from the first ever show but after last nights fiasco I wont watch it again. I feel so sorry for Lucy someone with her talent and she loses out to a pair of obnoxious untalented teenagers..I just hope that someone out there signs her up she deserves it..Hold your head up Lucy you did absolutley brilliant.. it wasnt that you lost because the terrible twins were better you lost because Simon couldnt stand by what he had been saying about them from the begining

Ok, guys, talked about Simon. Now the other thing. Why Twins had more votes than Lucy? WHAT IS BRITAIN VOTING FOR? I'm not from Britain, so I think I can ask that question. What is entertaining about those twins? I give you an example of entertainment. Last years AI contestant Norman Gentle. So think about that too, british people. If you wouldn't vote for those talentless guys, Lucy would still be in competition.
