The X Factor results are in and John and Edward have been voted off and sent packing. John and Edward were up against Olly in the sing off. The twins were singing “No Matter What” by Boyzone, and Olly Murs sang “Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton. The Six finalists have been waiting nervously for the past 24 hours to find out who will be leaving the competition.

As the results came in, it was Louis’s final act, John & Edward who were in the bottom two facing Simon Cowell’s act, Olly Murs.

John & Edward sang ‘No Matter What’ and Olly sang ‘Wonderful Tonight’.
After their performances Olly and the twins high fived each other before the decision came in.

Simon chose to save his act Olly Murs but said to the twins “If you do go tonight boys, I’m going to miss you”

Cheryl blew kisses to the twins and told them she would miss them as well before choosing to send them home.

Louis obviously chose to save his own act, John & Edward.

Dannii sent home John & Edward which meant their X Factor journey was over.

John said that he hoped Stacey and Olly go all the way.
Edward described it as ‘deadly’ to have been on the show

Louis claimed he ‘felt young again’ after working with the twins.

After opening the show, Dermot reminded the finalists that The X Factor charity single is the brand new number one.

Simon said of the no 1 single – “It never ceases to amaze me the generosity of the public when we ask them to raise money for a good cause. Once gain thank you to everyone who supported the record”

Next week the Judges lose their power as the act leaving the competition is decided on public vote only
