So, the Jedward factor is finally over and last night twins John and Edward Grimes, were voted off the X Factor. Over the last few months the nation has been split about the twins and they have caused controversy over their participation in the show, with newspaper headlines and social networking sites all talking about the twins on the X Factor.

Last night the twins were up against Olly Murs in the sing off and the judges finally decided to vote them off.

On Saturday night Danni said;

“You look amazing, I want those costumes, so fabulous – I’m going to steal them from your dressing room. You really shocked me tonight - the singing was in tune and the dancing out of time. It was fun”

Cheryl said “Out of all the contestants you two have been on the toughest and roughest ride and no matter what happens you should be proud”

When the judges voted on the results show Simon added; “Boys if you do go tonight, I’m actually going to miss you, I am”

An upset looking Cheryl added “Boys, I’ve really loved you over the past few weeks, I honestly have, big kisses”

When asked about being on the X Factor, Edward said: "It's been kind of crazy, but Olly deserves to go though, he shouldn’t have been in the bottom two. I hope he and Stacey go all the way Its been the greatest experience off my life”

Louis Walsh said “ I’ve had the best time working with these guys, I feel young again, I want to thank everybody for voting for them, I’m so glad I put them through”

They was given a standing ovation by the judges when they left,

The 18-year-olds, from Dublin, have already told GMTV;

"We are up for any challenge. We have got to think about it together and see if it's for us."

Will you miss them on the X Factor? And whats next for the Twins, Many people have said they can be the “next” Ant and Dec ... But what do you think?
